Key initiatives:
Elevate the newsprint-style print version to position as a valuable luxe magazine
Cohere articles and define parameters of digital and print editions
Expand coverage to reflect community and create conversations
Results:
The publication created themed editions, including a luxurious biannual printed magazine and monthly digital releases featuring shorter articles on a “mini-theme”. The content, previously positioned more as blog posts, expanded to focus on essays, explorations of restaurants and wine bars in different cities based on the theme, product recommendations, and profiles of topically relevant figures.
Although the magazine has since retired, the print editions were much beloved and the digital content was deployed effectively through paid and organic social media and email campaigns to greatly improve engagement rates and create new audience segmentation groups based on content.
